Pride at The Green Man

June is Pride Month – a month to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and a time for inclusivity and equality. This year is extra special as it’s the 50th birthday of Pride. To honour this, we welcome you to join us for an evening of celebration at The Green Man on Tuesday 5 July. Join us from 5-7pm to enjoy: 

 

An exclusive screening of... 

The film ‘Missed Conceptions’, based on a true story and set in 1990s Britain, a lesbian couple struggle to conceive a child of their own. Ruby Parker-Harbord is the Writer and Director of 'Missed Conceptions', a film based on her parents' own experience of struggling to have a child in the 90s. She is currently developing the story as a television series with production company 'Working Title'. We’ll be hosting a live Q&A with Ruby after the screening.

Rainbow’s the word... 

Make your own tie-dye t-shirt creation using all the colours of the rainbow. All materials will be provided. Suitable for children 5 years and older. 

 

Your wellbeing wishes... 

Will be answered with free head, neck and shoulder massages by Mind Body Therapy. You can also have a free health ‘MOT’ including your weight, blood pressure and plans to improve your health.
