We’re proud to have been named as a finalist in the Landlord of the Year and Innovator of the Year categories for the UK Housing awards 2021, run by Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Our Connected Together project was shortlisted for its innovative approach in keeping our residents and community connected during the pandemic. Over 2020 and 2021, the project gifted 4000GB worth of data, 116 Chromebooks, 27 Tablets and 20 smartphones to residents.

In the Landlord of the Year category, we were shortlisted for a number of initiatives that had a positive impact on our residents, community and staff during the pandemic.

Some of the initiatives highlighted can be viewed in our Annual Report, which was published this week.

Chief Executive of Phoenix Community Housing, Jim Ripley, said: "We're delighted to be shortlisted for this year's UK Housing Awards. Navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic hasn't been easy, but with the innovative ideas and dedication of everyone at Phoenix, we've come through as a stronger, better connected organisation for our community.

"The heart of our organisation is our residents, who are the key pieces to the Phoenix puzzle, and it's wonderful to have the opportunity to raise the profile of our resident-led model."

The winners of the UK Housing Awards 2021 will be announced at a ceremony on 25 November 2021.
